THE OHIO TO ERIE CONNECTION
THE GENOA TRAIL
Maxtown Rd to Plumb Rd.

DESCRIPTION:

The Genoa Trail, administered by Genoa Township. extends from Maxtown Road with connections to the Westerville trail system north via a short connector on Northgate Rd north about 5 miles to Plumb Rd. Except for the short connector trail at the south end which snakes through some shopping areas, it is a pure rails-to-trails conversation--that is: straight, flat and shady. The trail crosses several major roads--Mt. Royal, Freeman, Lewis Center and Big Walnut and ends at Plumb Rd.

The trail is an important connector section for the The Ohio To Erie Trail and will join the Columbus area trails to the OTE going north to Cleveland.
