| COLUMBUS TRAILS AND GREENWAYS THE NORTHLAND EAST-WEST BIKE ROUTE A proposed connection along the Morse Corridor: Broadmeadows to Parkside Park. |
The Northland Connector is a proposed bike-friendly connection along the Morse corridor. Currently, a routing, using less trafficked streets, is being determined. When the route is established, appropriate identification signing will be placed.
The recent completion of the Broadmeadows Bridge now allows access from the east side of the Olentangy River and a connection to High Street which will facilitate the extension of this route.
The current routing, from Robert D Hooper, going west to east, is as follows:
Broad Meadows Boulevard, Highfield Drive, Milton Avenue, Kanawha Avenue, Foster Avenue, Stanton Avenue, Forest Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, pedestrian bridge over I-71, Vinewood Court, Vinewood Drive, Redwood Road, Sandalwood Place, Tamarack Circle, Northtowne Boulevard, Waldorf Road, Edmonton Road, Bretton Woods Drive, North Columbus Athletic Association (soon to become a subdivision), Valley Park Avenue, Parkridge Park.
This route passes north of Morse Road. There are no current plans to use the new bike lanes which were a part of the Morse Road Revitalization project though this could change. Also, there is some question as to whether the route would best be served by using Tamarack Circle.

I am working on an aerial map which should be up shortly outlining the route. Later this winter, I will try to drive the route and put up some representative pictures.
